Budget Car And Truck Rental Helps The Missing Children Society

Missing Children Society of Canada, announced that Budget Rent a Car of Canada, a Canadian owned and operated company, has made the Missing Children Society of Canada one of its preferred charities and is donating car rental days to the Society’s investigators so that they can continue their active search for missing and runaway children throughout Canada.

The Missing Children Society of Canada (MCSC) is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to the search for abducted and runaway children. The focus for the Society is the hands-on search for the children. The Missing Children Society has a team of investigators who travel around Canada (and sometimes internationally) to investigate missing children cases. They carry out interviews, generate new leads, and conduct ground and water searches where necessary.

This investigative program – called Project: Reunite – is offered free of charge to the police and the searching parents, but as an organization it takes over $500,000 each year to maintain the ability, manpower and systems to facilitate it. The Missing Children Society does not receive government funding or funding from umbrella organizations like United Way, which is why corporate, and individuals support is so vital to the Society. Partnerships with corporates like Budget and WestJet really do help in the search for missing children.
