Book a United Airlines Flight and Get a Free Car Rental Day

United Airlines today announced that customers who purchase a flight on united.com will earn a free rental day from Hertz with a three-day minimum car rental reservation. In addition, customers will earn 50 Mileage Plus miles for each car rental day.

We are always looking at ways to leverage our Mileage Plus partnerships to offer United customers exciting and unique promotional opportunities, said Pete Peterson, President of Travel Distribution for UAL Loyalty Services. This is yet another example of that commitment to our customers.

Hertz is pleased to offer United customers this promotional offer just in time for the summer fly/drive season, said Frank Camacho, Staff Vice President, Marketing, The Hertz Corporation.

To qualify:

1. Book a flight at united.com.

2. On the confirmation page, click the Hertz link within the Featured Promotion section.

3. Select your car rental reservation dates.

If customers are not ready to reserve their car rental immediately after purchasing their flight, they will need to save the special link from the Confirmation Page so that the car rental page can be accessed at a later date. Customers have to enter the Hertz website through this link to earn their free car rental day.
