Urban Car Culture Takes Center Stage at Funkmaster Flex Celebrity Car Show, June 19 and 20, 2004 at the Atlantic City Convention Center – If you’re car-crazy and star-crazy, Atlantic City is the place to be on Saturday, June 19 and Sunday, June 20.
That’s when Spike TV’s Funkmaster Flex brings his Celebrity Car Show Tour 2004 to the Atlantic City Convention Center for two days of overhauled cars, aftermarket vendors, hydraulic and low riding displays and a national model search competition. For the uninitiated, Funkmaster Flex is one of the country’s most influential Hip Hop radio personalities, and a top DJ.
He’s also a custom car fanatic and host of Ride with Funkmaster Flex, which airs weekly on Spike TV to showcase celebrity car customizations. Among several other enterprises, Flex also founded Team Baurtwell, the high profile custom car club that includes such members as Shaquille O’Neil and Missy Elliott.
When he brings his Celebrity Car Show Tour 2004 to Atlantic City, you can expect excitement, with celebrity cars on display belonging to recording artists Wyclef Jean and Fat Joe, male supermodel Tyson Beckford, basketball stars Allen Iverson and Stefan Marberry and many others.
Cars include everything from classic muscle cars to the latest exotics, including Funkmaster Flex’s own Navigator.
Funkmaster Flex Celebrity Car Show, add one A competition will offer a $2,000 best of show prize and include a variety of import classes, domestic classes, specialty awards and overall awards. In another kind of competition, King Magazine will conduct a leg of its national model search at the Celebrity Car Show 2004, with the winner from this show competing for an overall winner to be featured in the magazine.
And to top off the weekend, a 1976 Chevy Laguna will be given away on Sunday, just in time for Father’s Day. Tickets for the Funkmaster Flex Celebrity Car Show Tour 2004 are $42.50 for a one-day pass or $67.59 for both days. Children under 10 are free but must be accompanied by an adult.
