Two BMW Sedans Awarded 'Best Sedans 2004' by Forbes.com
Online publication Forbes.com presented BMW with two 'Best Sedans 2004' awards for the 325i and 530i, in the most recent issue. The 325i was deemed 'Best near-luxury sedan, under $30,000,' and the 530i was awarded 'Best luxury sedan, under $50,000'. Ten awards were presented in all, with BMW garnering two of the ten.
The current 3 Series, now in its sixth model year, is still earning rave reviews, including Car and Driver Magazine’s 2004 '10Best' and Automobile Magazine’s 2004 'All-Star Awards'. Forbes.com automotive writer Dan Lienert noted of the 325i, '…once you get in one'…you should feel like your life is pretty much in order.
It’s still the standard among near-luxury sedans for style, driving thrills and interior beauty. It’s also the best-selling BMW. It’s also a BMW that costs less than $30,000. What we you waiting for?
Describing the 530i, Lienert wrote, You will totally love the BMW 530i. Its chassis, handling and pedals all feel…tuned more for the Autobahn than the suburbs. The new 5 Series, introduced last September, is selling in record numbers and is earning its share of accolades.
Money Magazine has once again selected the 5 Series as Best Luxury Car in their Annual Car Guide, and the new 5 is an Auto Guide Award Winner in the $35,000 to $40,000 category in their annual AAA Auto Guide: 2004 New Cars and Trucks.
