Dual Electronics to offer XM Radio-Ready car stereo products
Dual Electronics today announced it will offer Dual car stereo products that are compatible with XM Satellite Radio, the nation's leading provider of satellite radio.
The combination of XM Radio's extensive commercial-free programming, impeccable technology, and overall business model makes it the perfect partner for Dual, said Jim Braun, President of Dual Electronics Corporation.
The availability of XM Radio for select Dual car products will continue to enhance the value of the brand, while giving our retailers and end-users the quality and high value they have come to expect from Dual.
Dual will introduce car stereo head units compatible with the XM Direct tuner box during the third quarter of 2004 with product shipments reaching retailers in time for the holiday selling season. Pricing will be announced prior to shipping. In one short year, Dual has achieved more than 5 percent market share in car stereo products.
Dual's success in consumer electronics, particularly mobile audio, can be traced to the company's dedication to providing its customer base with innovative, top performing, high-quality products, which perfectly complements XM's commitment to giving our listeners the best programming and the best sound quality in satellite radio, said Dan Murphy, Senior Vice President, Product Marketing and Distribution, XM Satellite Radio.
