A splendid time to come see these vintage vehicles 'cruising' East and West Grand Avenue, creating a scene reminiscent of days gone by
2004 will mark the 11th Annual Old Orchard Beach Car Show with hundreds of truly distinctive and classic antique cars and trucks on display September 12 – 13 in Old Orchard Beach.
Magnificently restored and maintained classic and remarkable cars and trucks will be on display starting Friday night, September 17th. On Friday evening, Old Orchard Street closes to traffic to make way for the vintage car display. Participating cars and trucks will then form a car show parade.
This is a splendid time to come see these vintage vehicles 'cruising' East and West Grand Avenue, creating a scene reminiscent of days gone by.
The 11th Annual Old Orchard Beach Car Show will take place in Memorial Park. Car Show registration will be from 8am to 10:30am with final balloting by 1pm.
All cars registered for the show receive a commemorative Car Show dash plaque. Car Show winners will be announced at approximately 2:30pm and trophies for all categories will be awarded at that time.
Following the winners presentations, there is a wonderful Grand Finale Car Parade along East and West Grand Avenues.
There is a $2 donation admission to the show, which includes a ballot to vote for your preferred vehicles. Car Show awards range from best engine to the best of each vintage, to street rod, antique trucks and more.
Over 70 trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd , and 3rd place with over 30 separate classes including the Mustang class, the antique car class and the Camaro class.
The incomparable Nick Knowlton will MC the event and provide 50’s style live entertainment from his 'Baby Boomer' Giant Boom Box. Old Orchard Beach Little League will be serving its annual hearty breakfast and lunch under the tent on Saturday, so bring your appetite.
The park will be full of games during the day including the infamous ladies skillet toss and entertainment by the Seacoast Twirlers and Country Western sensation 10-year old Melissa Remillard.
