Motorola’s GSM Fixed Mobile Car Phone, the Model M900, Previews at CeBIT
Motorola, a global leader in wireless and automotive communications, announces the launch of the Motorola M900 GSM Fixed Mobile Car Phone.
Following the success of the Spirit CDMA fixed mobile car phone, Motorola designed the Motorola M900 to make GSM voice and data communications more convenient within a dedicated vehicle environment. The Motorola M900’s voice activation key is a distinguishing feature of the phone, which enables the use of spoken commands to activate phone functions.
This supports voice dialing, not only using voice tags linked to entries in the phone book, but also through voice recognition to dial numbers directly in 6 languages – English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Hebrew.
The design of the Motorola M900 was tailored to enhance the user experience in the vehicle environment. With its enhanced illuminated graphic display, large characters and adjustable blue backlight contrast setting, the user is provided with a convenient way to communicate on the move.
Naturally the Motorola M900 provides excellent voice quality in a hands-free environment, using advanced algorithms incorporating echo cancellation and noise suppression.
